However, while the automated search agent is necessary to find the relevant tender and thus delimit the number of EU tenders a company need to explore, Bid2Tenders experience have shown that it is not enough. For most companies there will still be too many unimportant hits within the search, and the time it takes to address these could otherwise have been spend trying to win a tender. Therefore, Bid2Tender has developed a specialized software which can adjust the automated search agent to account for a focused CPV and NUTS search, incl. a text search without the creation of multiple search agents. This somewhat diminishes the hits of the automated search. Yet, making it too specific leaves room for tenders to slip past our notice.
Bid2Tender therefore bases its Tender Search Service on a secondary part, a Manual Search and Sorting. This is also based on the initial need and requirement exploration, but while the automated search only deals with CPV, NUTS and textual searches this secondary part can include everything from contractual value, service specifications, settlement basis etc. Thereby ensuring that the EU tenders you have to deal with bare your requirements and will most likely lead to a bidding process. If we encounter too many irrelevant tenders, we will adjust the CPV codes, texts or NUTS codes in collaboration with the client.
